Svetlana Rumyantseva is a member of the leadership of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (TSHR). Chairman of the Artistic Puppet Section (TSHR). Member of the Moscow Union of Artists (MSH). Her works balance at the intersection of arts and crafts, sculpture and theater.
Svetlana Rumyanceva is the head of the experimental creative workshop "Dollart.ru" of the Russian Academy of Arts and the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. She is the organizer of the professional competition “Dollart.ru”; curator of the exhibition project "Art doll"; member of the Puppeteer Artists Association.
Svetlana is a theater artist by education, she graduated from the production department of the Studio School at the Moscow Art Theater (university). She worked in various Moscow theaters (Sovremennik, Lenkom, Vakhtangov Theater, etc.). In her work, Svetlana acts as a set designer and director of her small theater, where her dolls - actors - are silent, but very expressive in their fabulous and mysterious understatement.
She is a winner of numerous awards: Diploma "For Contribution to National Culture" of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (TSHR); bronze, silver and gold medals from TSHR; medal from the Moscow Union of Artists; diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts.
Svetlana is both a participant and a creator of numerous exhibition projects in Russia and abroad. Collaborates with galleries of contemporary art. Has publications in Russian and foreign print media. Her works take pride of place in private collections in Russia and abroad.
In her work, Svetlana acts as an astute researcher. The multifaceted creative path traversed by the author is reflected in her works and sends the viewer to different cultures, art history, theater. At the same time, they contain eternal human values and subtle observations of the inner life of the human soul.
